Philosophy of Education
My Philosophy in Education
I believe that every child, regardless of his or her background, race, disability, and or socioeconomic status who is willing to learn, should be given the opportunity as well as, my undivided attention and support that will able them to achieve his or her goals. I also believe that a safe, open, caring, and supportive environment is an essential element in the education of all students. What children learn on a daily basis extends far beyond the walls of the school, and into the every day lives of children at home. Education should be diversified. Without diversity in knowledge, stagnation can occur, which can produce individuals who are less productive and less successful in society. My goal and hope is for every students that walks into my classroom, will be challenged, pushed, and encouraged to be the best that they can be. By doing this, I will attempt to temporarily forget all that I may previously know about an individual and take what I see in front of me, as the reality of who they are. “A Jewell” that is waiting to be polished! Thus, every child in my classroom will receive a new start and a clean slate the second they enter into my classroom.
