During class, we briefly talked about Internet Safety Therefore, I went home and found a cool tool that can be used to teach students Internet safety. The site that I found is called Net Smartz Kids http://netsmartz.org. Net Smart Kids is an online resource with interactive activities and games that teaches children, teens, parents, and educators’ internet safety.
Protopage
Another cool tool that may be of use is Protopage http://www.protopage.com/protopage/about. Protopage is a feature that has floating windows you can drag around. Students can work on a project collaboratively. They can re-size pictures and or minimize the picture. Protopage brings an attractive face to the world of personalized homepages. Survey Monkey www.surveymonkey.comSurvey is a site that offers free limited access to create surveys. It is easy to use and online surveys can be created quickly. Students can complete the survey anonymously so there is no fear of embarrasment. Poll your class about how much they know, or what they want to study. The possibilities are endless!

The site www.edhelper.com has lots of worksheet andpuzzles for all grades and subjects. But with a paid subscription, you also get an online grade book, quiz maker, puzzlemaker and website. Parents can access the website and see their child’s grades, assignments, etc. You can also customize worksheets to target specific skills.
